ED CRAINE ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF THE CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MORTGAGE BROKERS!
It is with great pleasure that we announce the election of Ed Craine to the position of Vice President of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB).
Those of you who know Ed know that he has a passion for the loan business. He believes that the public should be well educated and treated fairly when it comes to getting a mortgage. He also believes loan agents should be well trained and ethical.
In an effort to help create and promote better industry standards,

Ed has been actively involved in the California Association of Mortgage Brokers for many years. CAMB's focus is on consumer protection and education.
Personally, Ed is particularly interested in legislation focused on consumer protection in 3 areas. First, he is an advocate of legislation that would help remove the bad apples from the lending industry. Second, he would like to see all lenders provide consumers with uniform disclosures in a format that is easy to understand. Believe it or not, different lenders have different disclosure requirements. Third, he wants to see the ability of credit bureaus to sell borrowers private credit information curtailed. Did you know that it's currently legal for the big three credit bureaus to sell you private credit information to third parties without your consent?
Another area Ed will continue to devote time and energy to is education programs for lenders and borrowers.

HAPPY COUPLE BUILDS DREAM HOME

He refinanced his house and used the cash out (his house had appreciated a great deal) to buy an investment house. His timing was perfect.
