Bill is a senior commercial and investment agent with Smith-Craine Real Estate Financing. He has more than 25 years of experience in sales and project management, including 10 years in commercial real estate acquisitions, finance and related software industries. Bill’s expertise is in performing complex financing analyses to aid in the underwriting, finance and purchase process. He is a tireless client advocate who explores multiple scenarios to facilitate transactions.
Bill represented Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate in the McClellan Air Force Base reuse bid, where he prepared an extensive site analysis, lease pro formas and investment analyses. His high-tech sales expertise led a multi-million-dollar accounts with the Walt Disney Internet Group, Warner Music, and eBay. Bill has held high-level management positions with Lindal Cedar Homes Inc. of Seattle and The Original Lincoln Logs Ltd., of New York as well as sales positions at CBRE and Zeus Technology of Cambridge UK.
Bill is currently working on several development projects and portfolio purchase financing projects. Bill is a featured speaker at the Smith Craine sponsored Commercial Lending Conferences and Strip Mall Conferences on the topic of analytic underwriting and succesfully packaging commercial loan submittals.
In his free time, Bill enjoys traveling with his wife Lisa, is a musician, an avid snow skier and a do-it-yourself home remodeler. Prior to his commercial real estate career he was the tour manager for Earth, Wind and Fire and several other professional acts during the 1970s, developing several of the touring financial metrics that are in use today.
