Wild Times In LenderLand!
July 16th, 2008 12:10 PM

Wow! It’s a wild ride out here in LenderLand. In the last few days we’ve had speculation that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are about to need government intervention. And we’ve had the Feds close down Indymac Bank.

In the meantime, we have great mortgage rates and continued buyer interest in well priced properties.

Let’s hope our fearless leaders can keep things together.

This is the third major downturn I’ve been thru and I have to say they’ve all been ugly. There always gets to be a feeling of despair. A feeling that things will never get better. But somehow they always do.

Keep that in mind as you read the papers, listen to the radio, and watch TV. Good news never sells. And by the way, it’s when the stories are the gloomiest that the best buying opportunities come.

Stay tuned!
